Rossett News Update - 31 Jan 2025
Allies Week
This week has been all about highlighting the importance of allyship to the LGBTQ+ community. It's an opportunity for us all to learn about what it truly means to be an ally and encourage others to embrace this role too.
At Rossett, we take pride in being a welcoming and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ individuals. But we know that there’s always more to be done to ensure that everyone feels safe, supported, and able to be themselves.
Each day our students have been learning more about what it means to be an ally. On Thursday, our students were invited to write a message on a handprint. These handprints will be used to create our Rossett Allyship display.
By stepping up as allies, we can continue to make Rossett a place where tolerance and acceptance thrive, and extend these values into the wider community. Let’s continue to support each other and celebrate the diversity that makes us stronger!
